What is BOTOX? (Botulinum toxin)
Botox (Botulinum toxin) is a purified protein that reduces the activity of muscles. It works by blocking muscle nerve signals.
Botox is frequently used as a simple, non-surgical treatment which is administered treatment for cosmetic and for some therapeutic purposes. It can be used to weaken specific facial muscles, in order to diminish unwanted wrinkles and frown lines that appear with age. It can be used to reduce or even eliminate lines across the forehead, frown lines at the top of the nose, and at the corners of the eyes (crow's feet). It can also be used to help reduce smokers lines, to reduce a visibly gummy smile, and even help with excessive sweating.

Q. Is Botox safe ?
A. Botox has been used in humans for over 35 years now and over 1980. and is the only treatment of its type to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Q. Am I suitable to have this type of treatment?
This type of treatment is suitable for most adults, however, it is not advised for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and people with some specific medical conditions. This type of treatment is effective for men and women.
Q. Will Botox work to reduce my lines?
A. Botox works on the lines which come from motion, which become more apparent with movement, whilst dermal fillers work on areas where there is a line regardless of facial expression
Q. Will I need Botox and Fillers ?
A. It is usually recommended to see how you get on with the botox first, then we can consider fillers as appropriate, but we would discuss this with you at your initial consultation.
Q. Are there any side effects?
A. We advised that you can expect some swelling for the first 20 minutes after treatment and there may be some slight evidence of bruising. For this reason, we do not recommend you have treatment just before any important personal or professional events.
Q. How long will the result last?
A. The results of Botox treatment can last for up to 4 months.
Q. What are your charges?
A. We offer a complimentary initial consultation to assess suitability for treatment with Botox, our prices start from £195 for a single area and we have packages for multiple areas. We also like to review after 2 weeks and we free top ups as appropriate. As an additional bonus, we also offer the option of top up within 3 months following initial placement.
Q. How long is an appointment ?
A. Initial appointments typically take half an hour to forty five minutes, including treatment.

We like to baby step treatment, as it is better to under treat for a more natural, relaxed look.
